Neti pots!

so you are thinking.. what the heck is a neti pot? well, i will tell you....
i just recently found out what a neti pot is, and right before i made this post i had to do a google search to find out how it is spelled.. this year i have been living in a house, but the 2 years before that i was in an apartment with another roomate.. well, he got this disease... not a disease but it was the worst sinus infection known to man since magellan sailed around the world. This sinus infection was bad in both its intensity and its length of stay. He decided to try something called a neti pot to help with the beastly infection. A neti pot is a small pot with a spout that sticks out the side. You put saltwater in the pot and then you put the spout of the neti pot into one nostril.
Tilting the head horizontally will cause the saltwater to go up the nostril, through some weird sinus passages, and....... out the other nostril! It is pretty wierd stuff. Well, i was playing texas hold'em with some jr high guys and instead of playing for money we played for dares, in that whenever someone went out or was elimated they had to do something the others told them to do. well, i hung in there pretty good.. and i actually got 2nd place, i was the last one eliminated.... which meant i had to do something that they wanted me to do.. well, the thing they wanted me to do was to put chocolate milk in the neti pot and make it go up one nostril and out the other....
yesterday i had the fine privilege (spelling?) of fulfilling my bet in front of 75 jr high kids. all i can say is it felt wierd and chocolaty up in my sinuses. the chocolate lingered for a while and i was spitting up viscous chocolate mucous balls for a while.
