sleep, duct tape, and comforters

ok, last night i woke up and i could not go to sleep because the neigbor's flood lights were shining very intensely on my window. i loathe light when i'm trying to sleep.... its like if i shut my eyes and sense there is light i feel that it is an intruder into my being and i must stop it. normally the flood lights next door are on a motion sensor, so they go off in a minute, allowing me to get the rest i need... but something was different last night. i allready have the standard metallic blinds, which proved to be no match for these 2 intense flood lights... so I got up and started devising plans of how to block this woeful enemy. i figured id have to put something big and dark covering the whole window. I proceeded to take my comforter and try to mount it hanging over the window with duct tape. it didnt work too well. i managed to find some sharp hook things that allowed me to hang the comforter on the support that the blinds are hanging from.... i turned off the lights to my room and I got some rest as my enemy had been thwarted.. i just have to get used to a comforter hanging over my window while i think of another device that would be much more suitable.
